The physical effects of abortion are widely known. This procedure has heightened risks such as infection and hemorrhage. Others that may be less severe and often found immediately following the procedure are nausea, cramping, and bleeding. Patients may experience a wide range of emotions such as anxiety, depression, sadness, and relief.

The ways to prepare mentally and physically regarding an abortion procedure are to understand them:

  2. The types of abortion procedures available and
  3. You choose the provider and service you wish to have.

The biggest emotion that most women feel after the termination is complete is the feeling of relaxation. Yes; there certainly may be moments of feeling sad and mildly depressed. The anxiety and fear that something horribly is going to go wrong immediately dissipate after the abortion are complete.

Having everything planned ahead of time with what is needed during and after the abortion pill or surgical operation is very important.

Having your favorite foods, drinks, and snacks available is a prerequisite. A list of movies you may want to watch or books and magazines you have a preference in reading will help the time pass expeditiously.
